How to Cancel ChatGPT Plus
ChatGPT Plus renews monthly at $20/month. You can cancel anytime from the chat interface — your conversation history stays intact and you revert to the free tier immediately after the billing period ends.

Cancel on chat.openai.com

Go to chat.openai.com and sign in
Log in to your OpenAI/ChatGPT account.

Click your name → My plan
In the bottom-left corner, click your profile name. Select "My plan" from the menu.

Click "Manage my subscription" → Cancel plan
You'll be redirected to Stripe's billing portal. Click "Cancel plan" and confirm.

Cancel on iOS or Android
iOS: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → ChatGPT → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ChatGPT → Cancel.
Only if you originally subscribed through the app store — otherwise cancel on the website.
GDPR route — if OpenAI keeps charging you
OpenAI processes EU user data and is bound by GDPR. If you cancelled but continue to be charged, send a formal Art. 17 erasure request. They must respond within 30 days.
