How to Cancel Duolingo Plus / Super Duolingo
Duolingo Plus (now called Super Duolingo) renews monthly or annually. After cancellation, you keep your streak, progress, and learned words — you just lose premium features like no ads and unlimited hearts.

⚠️ Cancel where you subscribed
- → Subscribed on iOS → cancel via iPhone Settings → Subscriptions
- → Subscribed on Android → cancel via Google Play → Subscriptions
- → Subscribed on duolingo.com → cancel via your account settings on the website
Cancel on iOS

Open iPhone Settings
Tap the Settings app.

Tap [Your name] → Subscriptions
Scroll down to your Apple ID name, tap it, then tap Subscriptions.

Tap Duolingo → Cancel Subscription
Find Duolingo in the list, tap it, then tap "Cancel Subscription". Confirm.
Cancel on Android (Google Play)
Open Google Play Store → tap your profile picture (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Duolingo → Cancel subscription.
Cancel on duolingo.com (web)
Go to duolingo.com/settings/super → click "Manage Subscription" → "Cancel Plan".
Note: this only works if you originally subscribed via the Duolingo website, not through Apple or Google.
GDPR route — if Duolingo keeps charging you
Duolingo has EU users and is bound by GDPR. If you cancelled but continue to be charged, send a formal Art. 17 erasure request. They must respond within 30 days.
