How to Cancel Notion Plus or Team
Notion Plus ($10/month) and Team ($15/member/month) renew automatically. You can downgrade to Free anytime — all your pages, databases, and content are kept. Notion Pro-rated refunds are available within 24 hours of renewal.

- → Unlimited pages (Notion Free used to be limited, but no longer)
- → 7-day version history (vs. 30 days on Plus)
- → No file size limit reduction for new uploads
- → AI features require Notion AI add-on (separate billing)
Cancel / Downgrade on Notion web

Open Settings & members
In the left sidebar, click "Settings & members" (or the gear icon ⚙️).

Click "Plans" in the settings sidebar
In the settings modal, scroll to the "Workspace" section and click "Plans".

Click "Downgrade" → Confirm
Click the "Downgrade" or "Cancel plan" button next to your current plan. Confirm to revert to Free.

💡 Team plan — only admin can cancel
For Notion Team plans, only the workspace owner/admin can downgrade. If you're not the admin, ask the workspace owner to downgrade or remove you from the workspace to stop being billed for your seat.
Refund policy
Notion offers pro-rated credits (not cash refunds) for unused time on annual plans. For monthly plans, no refund is issued — access continues until the end of the billing period. Contact team@makenotion.com within 24 hours if you were charged accidentally.
GDPR route — if Notion keeps charging you
Notion processes EU user data and is bound by GDPR. If you cancelled but continue to be charged, send a formal Art. 17 erasure request. They must respond within 30 days.
