How to Cancel a Twitch Subscription
Twitch channel subscriptions ($4.99–$24.99/month) and Twitch Turbo ($8.99/month) auto-renew unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime — your emotes and badges stay until the end of the billing period.
⚠️ Twitch has multiple subscription types
- → Channel subscriptions — paid support to a specific streamer
- → Gifted subscriptions — these don't auto-renew (free to you)
- → Twitch Turbo — ad-free experience, platform-wide
✓ What happens after cancelling
- → Sub benefits (emotes, badges, ad-free) remain until end of billing period
- → Your Bits and channel points are not affected
- → Gifted subs you received are separate and are not cancelled
- → No cancellation fee
Cancel on twitch.tv (desktop)

Sign in to twitch.tv
Log in to your Twitch account in a browser.

Click your profile picture → Subscriptions
In the top-right, click your avatar. Select "Subscriptions" from the dropdown menu.

Click ⋯ next to the subscription → Cancel
Find the channel subscription you want to cancel, click the three-dot menu, and select "Don't Renew" or "Cancel subscription". Confirm.

Cancel Twitch Turbo
Go to twitch.tv/turbo → scroll down → click "Manage Turbo" → Cancel subscription.
Or go to amazon.com if you subscribed through Amazon Prime.
Cancel on iOS or Android
iOS: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → Twitch → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Twitch → Cancel.
Only applicable if you subscribed through the app store — otherwise cancel on twitch.tv.
GDPR route — if Twitch keeps charging you
Twitch (owned by Amazon) processes EU user data. If you cancelled but keep getting charged, send a GDPR Art. 17 erasure request. They must respond within 30 days.
