How to Cancel Audible
Good news: cancelling Audible doesn't mean losing your audiobooks. All purchases you made with credits remain in your library forever — even after cancellation.

- → All audiobooks bought with credits stay in your library permanently
- → You can still listen to them via the Audible app (free)
- → Unused credits are lost — use them before cancelling

Cancel Audible on desktop

Log in to audible.com
Use your Amazon credentials — Audible accounts are linked to Amazon.

Go to Account Details
Click your name (top right) → Account Details → Membership Management (or "Cancel Membership" directly).

Use any remaining credits first
Check how many credits you have. Each unused credit disappears at cancellation — spend them now.

Click "Cancel Membership"
Audible may offer a pause or a discounted month. Continue through the flow until you see the final confirmation.

Confirm and save the email
You'll receive a confirmation email. Your membership ends at the current billing period's end date.

Cancel Audible on mobile
iOS: If you subscribed via Apple (in-app purchase), cancel through iPhone Settings → Your name → Subscriptions → Audible → Cancel Subscription.
Android: If subscribed via Google Play, go to Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Audible → Cancel.
Subscribed on Audible.com? You must cancel on the Audible website (not the app).

Audible is owned by Amazon EU S.à.r.l. (Luxembourg). EU users can send a GDPR Art. 17 erasure request — Amazon must respond within 30 days.
