How to Cancel Google One
Google One storage plans (100GB at ~$2.99/month, 200GB at ~$3.99/month, 2TB at ~$9.99/month) renew automatically. You can cancel anytime — your files are kept but you'll need to bring usage under the free 15GB limit or some features may be restricted.
⚠️ Check your storage usage before cancelling
If you're over the free 15GB limit, Google won't delete your files — but you won't be able to upload new files to Drive, receive new Gmail, or create new Google Photos backups until you're under 15GB.
✓ What happens after cancelling
- → All files in Drive, Gmail, and Photos are kept
- → Quota reverts to 15GB (shared across Drive, Gmail, Photos)
- → If over 15GB: existing files are safe, new uploads blocked
- → Google One perks (VPN, support) are removed
- → No cancellation fee
