How to Cancel Basic-Fit

Basic-Fit memberships renew monthly with a notice period. You can cancel via the app, website, or — if they ignore your request — via a GDPR erasure letter that forces a response within 30 days.

⚠️ Notice period — important

  • Classic plans: 1 month notice period (you pay 1 more month after cancelling)
  • Comfort / Premium plans: Same — 1 month notice
  • Annual contract: Cannot cancel early without valid reason (illness, relocation, etc.) — send proof by registered letter
  • → Moving to a city with no Basic-Fit is a valid cancellation reason (send proof of new address)

Method 1: Cancel via the Basic-Fit app (fastest)

  1. 1

    Open the Basic-Fit app

Log in with your Basic-Fit account credentials.

  2. 2

    Go to Profile → Membership

Tap the profile icon (bottom right) → Membership.

  3. 3

    Tap "Cancel membership"

Scroll down to find the cancellation option. The app will show your cancellation date (respecting the notice period).

  4. 4

    Confirm your cancellation

Review the end date and confirm. You'll receive a confirmation email — keep it as proof.

Method 2: Cancel via the website

Go to basic-fit.com → My Basic-Fit and log in.

Under My membership, select "Cancel membership". The process is the same as the app.

If you don't see the cancel option, your plan may require contacting customer service (annual commitment plans).

Method 3: Cancel by email / registered letter

For annual plans or if the app doesn't work: send cancellation to contact@basic-fit.com

Include: full name, membership number, date of birth, and your requested cancellation date.
